First Dog flight starts from May
Passengers receive canine champagne, complimentary in-flight squirrel videos, and a belly-rub button at every seat. And no, it’s not a joke.
USA: Luxury air travel has just gone to the dogs! Bark, the company that brought us the popular treat subscription service BarkBox, has teamed up with a private jet charter service to create a unique air travel experience designed for our furry friends.
With a "Dogs Fly First" philosophy, Bark Air promises to prioritise the comfort and well-being of dogs with luxury accommodations and flight preparations that include calming pheromones, music, and pup-preferable colours. And that's not all. The carrier also offers calming treats, noise-cancelling earmuffs, and calming jackets during the flight to ensure our canine companions have a stress-free journey.
But what about in-flight meals, you ask? Dogs will be treated to a lavish spread of "Doggie Champagne" (chicken broth), dog doughnuts, and meat snacks. Talk about living the high life!
However, all this luxury comes at a steep price. According to Bark's press release, transatlantic flights will set owners back a whopping $8,000, while tickets for cross-country flights will cost around $6,000. But for those who can afford it, the experience promises to be worth every penny.
Bark Air's first flight will take off from New York on May 23rd. Flights are available between New York, Los Angeles, New York, and London, and the company plans to add more routes.
So, if you want to pamper your pooch with a luxurious air travel experience, look no further than Bark Air!
